Have you heard about baby swimming classes held at Damansara Polo Club?
Through a friend's recommendation, I brought my daughter for one trial class for baby swimming class. It's not FREE and they're charging RM50 for 30 min swimming class for one kid and one parent. Very expensive!
We started off with a short briefing by the instructor from female Singapore called Casey. She told us what to do, and what not to do in the pool with the bb. Then, we're off into the pool. I was worried that bb would get scared and cry non stop, then I had to stop and left. Surprisingly, she enjoyed the singing and water a lot.
First, we let the baby to use the water cup to pour water on top of their head, shoulders and body. Then, slowly we bring the baby into the water by singing Humpy Dumpy. After few rounds of Humpy Dumpy, we played with the baby in the water by singing Bus around the Town. Then, we hold our baby legs and paddled under the water. IT's so fun!
While my husband was recording the fun moment together, the instructor said "No video recording as this is a private lesson". Don't get it! What's so private! Anyway.... Maybe, they're afraid that we would learn the techniques and setup our own swimming courses for bb else where. - Singaporean.

Little Baby
"As long as she's healthy, I am happy."
"She's just smaller size but she's happy"
"Maybe she will grow taller later"
"She is too active and not putting on weight"
"She is just difference"
"Maybe, she has her daddy genes"
The truth is, my baby is few inches shorter than my neighbour 6 months younger daughter. She is a head shorter than the veggie shop owner's daughter who's 6 months older. But, she's same height with some other baby boys her age. However, my parents, in-laws and hubby always like to compare her with those taller and heavier than her. STOP! Whatever comparison doesn't help at all and just making me feel more depressed.
Baby, could you please eat more and grow like big fat PIG and grow like giant baby. Then, all of them will shut up. But then, they will start complaning she's Too FAT, too rough. sigh!! Whatever.

Moo Moo babies
When I got pregnant in 2007, there were whole bunch of relatives, friends, colleagues, neighbours who were also pregnant. Basically, you would have baby fullmoon party almost every month.
This year, another "prosperous" year. I would say it's a good year,,,where most of my friends who should be expecting are expecting now. : ) Congratulations expectant moms.
Personal advice for those who're expecting...
1) Enjoy the 9 months "queen" life..... not because you could torture your husband to wake up middle of the night to do anything you want. But, you could EAT and SLEEp,, and nobody will dare to call you a pig.
2) Read some books about your pregnancy and get to know your baby earlier. The more you know, the less fear you will be.
3) Eat healthy "fresh fruits, fish, chicken and veggie) and drink lots of milk and FRESH soy bean.
4) Plan ahead.... finish all the bb, confinement or after birth shopping before your tummy grows too big (before 8 months). TIPS: You don't have to do all shopping on your own. Sometimes, friends who have kids or siblings could be good help.
5) Settle Baby sitting earlier... discuss and agree with your partner about baby sitting if you continue to work. If you are hiring maid, then can send the maid to your MIL or mother's place. If you're not hiring maid, you can consider nanny. I do have friends who sent her son to nursery as little as 4 months old. (Sometimes, we just need to find the best way for both you and husband)
6) Gossip more with mommies to get more tips and experience. But, you don't have to listen and follow everything. You should have the knowledge to know what's right to do.
The above is purely from my

growing up
Baby is turning 21 months old soon. Since she threw the weight machine from 1st floor down to our back yard 6 months ago, I am not sure about her weight. Now, she's taller than dining table and her hands could take anything that you put on the table edge. You will be surprised when she climbs up to the dining chair and grabs her cup, food, handkie on the table. Amuzing kid!!
Now, it's the time where I have to continue reminding my maid about placing the frying pan inside and not outside. Because, we never know when my daughter could be tall enough to reach for the frying pan. Right?
She runs like little "piggie",,, small steps and very fast. : )
She eats like an adult,,, using adult bowl, spoon. And her favourite soup is "Onion potato soup".
She still baby talk,,,, and calls me "ma ma" when she needs something or sleepy.
But, she is such a chicky little girl where she will move both of her eyebows and smile at you. Like usual kids, she will hold your hands,, push your body and do whatever she can, to drag you to the freight or cupboard for her favourite cookies/yogurt/cheese or anything. : )
Time flies! she's soon to be 2 years old.

Photos from Taiwan
Sweet memory.
Taken in one of the flower park. Didn't she look flowery?
My darling.... Love her smile
Almost 20 months old. Taken in Taiwan, Alisan. This is one of my favourite photos.
Saw the little toy car that she's riding. It's very stable and safe for toddlers. My girl loves it so much that she rode on it around my brother's house all the time. But, it's not sold in Malaysia.
